Wayne Vs The World

Last week, the inevitable happened.

We had our first 1star review on Google reviews.

Rather than get cross at a bad review, we’ve taken the attitude of celebration. We know we can’t please everyone, although we aim to, but “what happened?” I hear you ask.....

I‘ll let you judge for yourselves.

My first reaction, I must admit, did include a few expletives, but then I very quickly realised that the review doesn’t speak about the service we provide or indeed any of our staff.

In fact, what this absolute gremlin has done is showed himself to be an ignorant, narcissistic racist.

Championing my customers is something that I’m quite proud of so my reply is as follows..

I could break down this reply more, but there’s really no need, but I will say this.

The Lady in question in this article has no affiliation with Hedingham Cuts, but if she did, we’d be all the better for it.

She shall remain nameless, however, if she’s reading this, she knows who she is, but let this be known,

Regardless of her nationality (obviously), she, along with her family, are some of our favourite clients. She is The epitome of class, her family are all wonderful and I can only apologise to her, that although nameless, there are some bitter, evil and twisted dregs of society out there.

So Mr, Christian Overal, we won’t forget your name, or your face, and if we come across you in person, we will hold you to account over your comments and we hope that there’s a large crowd to witness it!

It’s been a while since my dormant Drill Instructor has surfaced, but occasionally, it’s good to wake the monster.

Moving on though, this is only part of my post this week.

Generally, I think when leaving a review, it’s pertinent to maybe stick to the relevance of the business.

If someone had left with a sub standard haircut etc, I would have to accept it, analyse it and move forward but it wasn’t that.

For those of you that follow our escapades here in the shop, if you’re reading this and haven’t ever left a review on Facebook or Google, we would be very appreciative if you would take the time to.

It all helps, and of course, when building an empire, without our loyal subjects, we have nothing.
